Day 6 Takeaway

I love the goodness of Jesus. He was so good and unstoppable that His clever enemies wanted to have a right to accuse Him. They were desperate to find Him doing wrong. Yet in His goodness, all they could come up with was healing on the wrong day. Of course, He made their attempt obsolete by just being Himself and healing out loud in front of everyone totally unashamed.

Think about it…He did everything right and the ones who thought they were better than Him, thought they did not need Him, could not accept it.

Have you ever felt like you’re doing it all wrong? Like no matter how hard you try, people can’t seem to embrace who you are because you don’t go by their exact rule or expectation? You are not alone.

Embrace the perfect Son of God exactly as He is, exactly as you are. Rest. Heal. (Even on the Sabbath.)
