Day 14 Takeaway

Two weeks in and it’s getting serious. Slowing down to take in every chapter gives us even more deliberate reason to love Jesus. He said these words before He went to the cross Himself. I can imagine, difficult as they are, these words are easier to read now than they were to hear then. We were chosen to live in the day when our vantage point is beyond the birth, beyond the death, and beyond the resurrection.

We get to live in the wait for His return. We may not understand it all - just like I’m sure the disciples did not understand this cross reference yet - but one day we will. And on that day, we won’t regret a single thing that we have given up to follow Him.
