The Luke Challenge: Day 11

What's the Luke Challenge?

The Luke Challenge is a 24-day journey through the Gospel of Luke to prepare our hearts for Christmas. We invite you to read 1 chapter of Luke with us daily from December 1st to Christmas Eve.

Anyone who is not with Me is against Me, and anyone who does not gather with Me scatters. - ‭‭Luke‬ ‭11‬:‭23‬ ‭(HCSB)‬‬

Day 11 Takeaway

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, “We do not have the time or the luxury for the tranquilizing drug of complacency.” There is a stream of believers who are taught that repeating the right words one time is a Get Out of Jail Free card that includes an all-access pass to Heaven. It breaks my heart to think of all the access we have right here on earth being overlooked.

Even Jesus encouraged (at the least) asking for daily bread in His famous prayer, also in today’s chapter. Inaction and indecision are choices too. Every "yes" we say is a "no" to something else. May we all say yes to Jesus today and every day!
